Kicking Off Our 2019 LOVE Campaign With This One Right Here: Inspired Post
Early morning or late night fam,
#BESTLOVECampaign2019 I feel like a total “shumtz” for this but I failed to notice and acknowledge my friend and colleague’s birthday yesterday. I couldn’t have done any of this without you Michael Cousins your friendship and support for this past year and a half has truly gotten me through some of my toughest days. I wanted to quit seriously when I met you in Detroit. Life won’t going right. BEST wasn’t going right. I was literally homeless living out of a suitcase when we connected on one of my “leap of faith” kicks.
I know for certain, because of my “yes” to break my lease and leave Chicago the way I did, God had my back in connecting me to you. You were my game changer. I couldn’t afford the artwork you’ve done for BEST but you did it anyways and with such Grace. I’ve been able to rely on you and your faithfulness.
Your faith in me helped me build my faith back up in myself, and despite having to come back to VA and regroup personally — I’m glad we linked how and when we did.
Every level higher I grow has required more faith and vulnerability out of me, to entrust my vision in capable hands and spirits such as yours. Look at us over a year later. Going strong 💪🏽. I don’t know many people who’d do the selflessness thing as consistently and proficiently as you have for me and my company but all I can say is praise God for you.
I hope your connection to me has been as equally enriching as yours has been for me. Thank you for helping me, and being one of the #BEST friends, supporters, identity consultant, graphic designer, nigglets I know. 😉
With God’s love Happy Birthday my friend,
India N. Parson
