Pop Up Event: Collaborat’n Not Compete’n
Collaborat'n Not Compet'n, only took me ten mins. to conceptualize thanks to God using Tressie Edwards to reach out to ask me if she could (1) be friends (2) pick my brain. I invited 15 people on Friday, most of which are people I met in the past week, 10 were able to attend traveling as far as Fredricksburg, Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico and Richmond. The event lasted 5.5 glorious hours -- one goal. Connectivity.
I've got a shout in my spirit. Ya'll have no idea how many times I've tried to be anything but me. Asking God why does he always have some many NEW people come into my life all. They joked about it last night how I just pop up. Can't help it, the Holy Spirit leads me and I go and there's always a new friend on the other end. In this case it was Melody Krone. But the rejection is real. People don't always receive me. I'm grateful to you all being MY PEOPLE...no matter the race, income level, religion, economic background. You love India and I love you right back, I'd be happy with one bestie but it seems God feels my heart is big enough for many. Indeed. After last night I agree. My heart is so full.
